The mission of the Marble Falls Area Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. is to protect Lives and Property against Fire, Medical emergencies and other emergency situations. The Marble Falls Area Volunteer Fire Department, Inc.shall carry out this mission in an efficient, professional and timely manner to the fullest possible extent.
ABOUT
Fire Safety Is Our Priority
The Marble Falls Area Fire Department was established in 1936. Our Department became a Combination Department in March 2017. We contract to supply service to Burnet County Emergency Services District #6 , A 126 square mile area. We also contract with The City of Meadowlakes, & The Wilderness Cove Subdivision on Wirtz Dam Rd. in addition to Mutual aid to surrounding Departments.
Our main Fire Station is located in Marble Falls. We also have a sub-station 1431 East in the Smithwick area. The Department has a ISO Class 9 rating due to the majority of the area we serve being rural with no water source. In the city of Meadowlakes have a ISO Class 5 due to a Municipal water supply.
